Laura Appleby,
PHD MPHIL
Laura has over a decade of experience in epidemiology and control of neglected tropical diseases (NTDs), with particular focus on helminthiases. She has collaborated with governments, intergovernmental organisations, donors, and NGOs to bridge disciplines such as policy framework analysis, spatial epidemiology, infectious disease transmission dynamics, and country capacity analysis, to design and implement health programmes that enable large scale impact.

Laura holds a PhD from the University of Edinburgh in immuno-epidemiology and an MSc in Control of Infectious Diseases from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She has authored numerous academic publications and facilitated international workshops with the WHO and The World Bank.
