Kendra Palmer
Kendra Palmer is a senior technical programme manager with eight years focusing on neglected tropical diseases. She holds an MSc in epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
She spent seven years at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and since has consulted on a range of programmes targeting NTD control and elimination efforts and data capacity building in Africa and Asia, specializing in Trachoma. Amongst other roles, she spent time in Tanzania providing technical support and supervision to the trachoma programme. Current roles include Trachoma technical focal point for a multi-country programme operational in 12 countries, guiding national ministries and implementing partners in annual workplanning, monitoring and evaluation, design of disease specific assessments and end-to-end implementation.
